Purpose & access

Built for private use.

The tracker supports supplier price tracking through an operator-controlled n8n installation. It is not a public registration service. Only the operator and people explicitly authorized by the operator should connect accounts or use the workflow.

Google Sheets

Read supplier and product records and record prices and tracking results in workflow-selected spreadsheets.

Google Drive

Find and manage Google files used by the workflow. Granted access can be broader than those selected files.

Self-hosted processing

Google credentials and workflow data are handled in the operator’s local or self-hosted n8n environment, separately from this site.

Before you authorize

Understand the scope of access.

Broad permission is broad access. The workflow’s intended purpose does not technically limit a credential to supplier data. Review Google’s consent screen before granting access.

Google Sheets — broad spreadsheet access

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets

This permission can read, change, create, and delete Google Sheets spreadsheets accessible to the connected account. It is not restricted to a single tracker file. The intended purpose is to read supplier and product records and write price observations and tracking results.

Google Drive — broad file access

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive

This permission can read, download, create, change, and delete Drive files accessible to the connected account, including files unrelated to price tracking. The intended purpose is to find and manage files used by the workflow. Selecting a tracker file in n8n does not narrow the OAuth permission.

The consent screen shows the permissions actually requested. The permissions above describe broad access that may be requested by the configured n8n credentials; the precise scopes depend on that configuration. If the request differs from this disclosure or seems unnecessary, do not authorize it and contact the operator.

You control the connection.

Remove the app’s access through Google Account connections whenever you choose. Revocation stops future authorized access through that grant; it does not remove data already stored in Sheets, Drive, n8n execution history, logs, or backups.
